Warehouse/ Wet Blend Operator/Forklift

Must have Forklift experience; Certification not required as Client will site certify

General Labour, but no physical demand for live (full) containers, so maneuvering of empty drums will be expected

Must be flexible to work either shift: 5AM-2PM, or 2PM-12Midnight ; Overtime Expected

Plant expansion Project to last through June 30th, possibly longer

Potential to convert to permanent role.

Under limited supervision, performs duties that are associated with the operation of the plants operating units. Interprets batch tickets, standard operating procedures and ISO procedures. Calculates batch yields and performs basic calculations required on batch tickets. Operates all blender units and associated processes efficiently and safely. Loads, unloads and transfers all raw materials and products using safe handling methods. Controls the amount of waste generated and disposes of waste according to environmental requirements. Adheres to all safety rules and procedures including wearing of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and attending all scheduled safety meetings. Proactively identifies safety issues and recommends corrective actions. Demonstrated knowledge of basic chemical manufacturing processes. Proven initiative in increasing knowledge of products, processes and equipment. Knowledge of all safety policies and procedures. Ability to enter accurate data into plant computer system. High School Diploma or equivalent plus completion of all on the job training as specified in the training matrix for Operator Production II. Previous experience as a Chemical Operator may be substituted.
