Software Implementation Project Manager
 
  • 2-year contract
  • Location: London, ON

The successful candidate will manage the overall project including research and selection of software, vendor management, system conversion, documentation and overall implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather and document requirements via interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, business process reviews, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis
  • Research and engage with potential solution partners and facilitate decision making process to make selection
  • Analyze and evaluate information collected from multiple sources and resolve conflicts
  • Explore emerging technologies and assess their applicability/compatibility with the new finance system and reporting strategy
  • Prepare implementation plan outlining timelines and key milestones
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of project
  • Work with the implementation partner to direct the integrated project schedule and manage stakeholder interest
  • Lead and coordinate regular project update meetings, including weekly reporting of project status

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in software implementations; ideally in Accounting/Finance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Business or related field
  • Managing, supporting, developing and/or analyzing ERP
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience in business analysis review, documentation and process improvements
  • Ability to lead and drive a project team through the life-cycle of a significant software system implementation
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in MS Office

PERKS:

  • Competitive salary compensation $90,000-$110,000/year (based on experience)
  • Bonus structure based on achievement of milestones
